Don’t miss the EO ONE Canada Welcome Reception, taking place at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. This is Canada’s national museum of immigration. Formerly an ocean liner terminal, this Pier operated as an immigration shed from 1928 to 1971. Pier 21 is Canada’s last remaining ocean immigration shed.

This will be a great chance to catch-up with old friends and make some new ones. A featured performance by Atlantic Canada’s own Shaun Majumder, live music, succulent samplings of Nova Scotia delicacies and a refreshing beverage will make this a great official start to the EO ONE Canada Conference .

A ceilidh is a Gaelic word used to describe a social event often featuring music and dancing. Ever wonder how many people and instruments you can squeeze into a kitchen? In Atlantic Canada the rhythm of life here is defined by such gatherings. All the best parties, end up in the kitchen, with live music. This evening EO’ers will experience what a ceilidh is all about.

This casual event will start with a reception on the “brow” of the Cunard Centre, located at Pier 23 on the Halifax Waterfront. This exclusive access to the outdoor space will afford EO’ers a spectacular view of George’s Island, our working container terminal and more as we start our evening. The EO Atlantic Canada Kitchen Party will feature our famous Lobster and other treats… don’t worry, if you don’t eat lobster, we will have something for you. A night of dancing and entertainment with a DJ and EO Edmonton’s soon to be famous live band Streetmeat, will keep you moving all night long
Plan on a late one!!
